At Hampton, Dr. Blow led the university’s $150 Million Dream No Small Dreams II Campaign, which ultimately exceeded its goal by $16 million. Dr. Blow also owns and is Co-Founder of Walker Blow Consulting – a boutique agency specializing in fundraising/development, strategic communications, and information technology services. She currently serves as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Corporate and Foundation Relations at Elizabeth City State University.

Additionally, Dr. Blow is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America. Dr. Blow served as the 2022 National Chair for PRSA. She currently serves as Immediate Past National Chair. Within PRSA, Dr. Blow has served in numerous capacities including but not limited to former National Co-Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee; Past President of the Hampton Roads Virginia PRSA Chapter; Past Chair of the PRSA Mid-Atlantic District Board; and Past Chair of the National Universal Accreditation Board. She has been featured in numerous books on communications, public relations, and ethics; she also was the Managing Director of a 2022 PRSA’s 75^th Anniversary award-winning project titled “75 Center of Impact and Influence” for which she raised more than $300,000.

Dr. Blow earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media Arts from Hampton University; her Master’s in Business Administration degree from Strayer University; and her Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Old Dominion University. She is a member of the Links, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc., and is married to the Rev. Alvin Blow. They have three children Erin, Trevor, and Victoria.
